The Healing Oppression Project (HOP) uses somatic healing strategies to challenge institutionalized, interpersonal, and internalized racism and oppression within LGBTQQ communities. Beginning in winter 2008, the HOP will offer training and support for LGBTQQ people of color to use somatic practices to heal from the trauma of racism and become effective social change agents; and for LGBTQQ white people to use somatic practices to unlearn racism and become effective anti-racist allies.
