Healing Justice

Healing Justice is a term coined by Black and Brown queer, Trans and Gender nonconforming people that acknowledges the impact intergenerational trauma and oppression has had on our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. At CUAV, we see this framework as a way to transform the root causes of violence into interdependence and community care. By centering healing we create space for transformation, hope, resilience and strength.
