Peer Advocacy Counseling

Advocacy-Based Peer Counseling: LGBTQ people dealing with violence or abuse can access short-term counseling to receive emotional support, safety planning, referrals, and limited case follow-up.

If you are an LGBTQ person dealing with violence or abuse, call to schedule an appointment at (415) 333-HELP (4357) or email us at counseling@cuav.org.

If no one answers, please leave a voicemail with a call back number and let us know if it’s okay for us to leave a message. We are experiencing a high volume of requests for counseling. Please expect 1-4 days for a response.

1:1 Peer Advocacy Counseling will only be provided via phone or through zoom, per the CDC recommendations for avoiding exposure of our communities
to the COVID-19 virus.

Thank you for contacting CUAV.
